“IN HARMONY,” includes performances of some of the Seattle-area's top jazz musicians. Besides the Countrymans’ vocals, the album also features such guest stars as film-score composer/saxophonist Robert Drasnin, singers Kelly Harland, Michael Andrew (soon to star on Broadway in Jerry Lewis’ “THE NUTTY PROFESSOR”), and Liza Minnelli’s long-time musical director BILLY STRITCH.
Jazz singer–songwriter DAVE FRISHBERG says: “What a beautiful job the Countrymans have done! The vocal arrangements are beautifully realized, and the singing is first-rate! Excellent! Congrats to all the players and singers on this CD!” WOODY ALLEN'S favorite film
composer (and brilliant pianist) DICK HYMAN praised the album as “reminiscent of the vocal group harmonies of the Hi-Lo's and the Modernaires. The Countrymans’ 'IN HARMONY' is hip, swinging, annd beautifully blended!”
Legendary session guitarist VINNIE BELL says: “This is an album made by two people in love, and it shows! Fantastic harmonies and wonderful vocals!”
